While I write today, I am sitting in a super 8 hotel room enjoying a leisurely morning of drinking coffee, prayer, and reading emails. Ernie and Helen Atkinson sent me a link that they thought I would be interested in--they were correct! I would like to share this link from the cbc.ca radio titled Caregiving Part 2 with all of you...especially for those of us who are caregivers to our parents. My desire is to provide encouragement, and information for those who are walking through transitions in life. One thought from this message that stood out for me was we can not care for our elders alone, we need to be in community, leaning on each other for encouragement, and help. I believe, no matter what transition we are walking through we need our community to walk along side us. This is a very insightful article.
